Steve's experience in the financial services industry began in 1997 after completing his MBA at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner in 2000 and has experience in estate planning and employee benefit consulting, as well as an extensive history in insurance, investments, 401(k) plan administration, compliance, and financial planning. Steve became an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® in 2011, a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor in 2021, is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Western New York, The Estate Planning Council of Rochester, and is a compliance principal.
Steve is an avid cyclist, spending a lot of his free time either road or mountain biking, as well as using his cycling to raise money for a variety of charities over the years. Steve also loves to travel, having been to all 50 states and five of the seven continents. His pride and joy are his two children. His son is working as a supervisor for Monroe County Parks, while his daughter is working in social media marketing and is married to her childhood sweetheart, welcomed the birth of their daughter in 2025, and currently live in St. Petersburg, Florida. Steve married his best friend Bridget in 2021, who after years of owning her own daycare, is now managing a 2nd career as an event planner and property manager. Bridget has three daughters, her oldest is working her own childcare center, her middle is living in NYC developing a career in the film industry, and the youngest works locally for a coffee warehouse as well as for Wegmans. Bridget and Steve are enjoying blending into a new modern family.
